| “Purls Of Joy” April 27 & 28, 2012 It’s that time of year again. Yes, the “Purls Of Joy” Seminar will soon be here. Preparations are starting. The Upper Midwest Knitting Machine Dealers will be working very hard to put on another outstanding seminar for you. This will be our 27th year. Due to rising costs at hotels we have moved our seminar to Princeton, MN. We will be holding it at Trinity Crossing, 112 6th Ave N. Princeton, MN. We will not be in a hotel, but the hotels in town are within a mile of Trinity Crossing. We hope you will be able to attend again this year. If you were not able to attend last year we did have very good comments on our new location. Our guest demonstrators are: Morgan Hicks, Linda Jensen, Pam Pommerenke & Mar Heck. Many of our own Upper Midwest Dealers will be teaching also. We will have classes for the beginner to the very experienced, hopefully everyone will leave having learned something new. We have 5 - 1 hour classes on Friday and 5 - 45 minute classes on Saturday approximately 5 classes will be going on at one time. Don’t forget our “Style Show” on Friday night at the banquet. Those of you that participate in the Style Show will be entered into our drawing for a $50.00 gift Certificate. We will have a drawing at our noon lunch on Saturday. The Grand Prize will be a “Free” seminar package (excluding hotel) for 2013. Must be present to win and it will be non-transferable Contest Every year we have a different theme for our contest. This year our theme is “Baby Outfit” (sweater and at least one piece to go with it.) Everyone and anyone can knit a baby outfit no matter how simple or fancy. Let’s all knit one so you will have a chance to win the contest. Remember you will be the judges! We will have a Gift Certificate for the first, second, and third place winners. Something new, if you have no one to give it to, we will have a table for the outfit and a charity we will be giving them to. If you just want to knit one for charity that is OK also.
