| “Purls Of Joy” April 25 & 26, 2008 The Upper Midwest Knitting Machine Dealers proudly announce the “Purls of Joy” seminar to be held Friday April 25th & Saturday April 26th, 2008 at the AmericInn Entertainment & Event Center. Our seminar is renowned for its variety of creative and technical educational opportunities.. Our classes are instructed by a group of skilled and innovative demonstrators. Our guests for this year are Pat Plett, Theresa Husarik, & Colleen Smitherman. Many our own well known demonstrators will be instructing as well. Many of our own Upper Midwest Dealers will be teaching also. There will be 5 - 1 hour classes on Friday and 5 - 45 minute classes on Saturday. We will have classes for the Basic Beginner to the very experienced DAK user. Contest Every year we have a different theme for our contest. This year our theme is “CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS”. We know that you are all very creative and everyone and anyone can knit a Christmas Stocking. Everyone should enter this contest. This year we ask that everyone enter only 1 stocking per person since we know that “Everyone” will be entering this contest!! Remember you will be the judges! We will have a Gift Certificate for the first, second, and third place winners. Don’t forget our “Style Show” on Friday night at the banquet. We have a drawing for this also. Everyone should wear something they have knit to the banquet, if you recall, we just pick you out and have you tell us about the knitwear your created!
